{"id":335,"date":"2013-03-30T12:34:19","date_gmt":"2013-03-30T12:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/retroramblings.net\/?p=335"},"modified":"2013-03-30T12:44:45","modified_gmt":"2013-03-30T12:44:45","slug":"more-pace-adventures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/retroramblings.net\/?p=335","title":{"rendered":"More PACE adventures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After I ported the Pacman core to the Chameleon 64 last week, Mark McDougall suggested that Moon Patrol would be a good project to port next, so that&#8217;s exactly what I&#8217;ve done.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/retroramblings.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/mpatrol.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/retroramblings.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/mpatrol.jpg\" alt=\"mpatrol\" width=\"481\" height=\"500\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/retroramblings.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/mpatrol.jpg 481w, https:\/\/retroramblings.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/mpatrol-288x300.jpg 288w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 481px) 100vw, 481px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also improved the Pacman port somewhat, cleaned up the clocking arrangments (now I have a clearer idea of how they&#8217;re supposed to work) and integrated the Chameleon_CDTV entity, which means the CDTV infra-red controller can now be used.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also ported Moon Patrol to the MiST board, and to my Frankensteined C3 board.<\/p>\n<p>The downside of Moon Patrol is that it requires a two-button controller, since one is used for fire and the other for jump.<\/p>\n<p>Binaries for the Chameleon64 <a href=\"http:\/\/retroramblings.net\/snapshots\/PACECores_20130330.zip\">can be found here<\/a>, while a patch against current PACE SVN <a href=\"http:\/\/retroramblings.net\/downloads\/PACE_20130330.patch\">can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After I ported the Pacman core to the Chameleon 64 last week, Mark McDougall suggested that Moon Patrol would be a good project to port next, so that&#8217;s exactly what I&#8217;ve done.
