Please note: if you’re looking for the latest Minimig core for MiST, its official home is still the mist-binaries repository on github – chances are what you find there will be more up-to-date than what’s on this page.
I recently ported some improvements to the Minimig AGA core back to the MiST platform, and will publish binary releases of my version here. Anything on this page should be considered experimental and you run it entirely at your own risk.
Improvements over the stock core include a rudimentary RTG implementation, Akiko C2P support (DoomAttack!), a cheap imitation of the Amiga’s LED Audio filter (Lotus II tunnel sound effects!), and CPU bugfixes thanks to Slingshot
If you’d like to encourage me to continue supporting MiST with this and other future projects, then one-off donations to https://paypal.me/robinsonb5, are always welcome, or you could support me at https://www.patreon.com/coresforchameleon where I publish occasional videos talking about what I’m currently tinkering with. Nothing is paywalled – that’s not my style – but support of any kind is always much appreciated.
(Please note: This is for MiST – if you’re looking for Turbo Chameleon 64 binaries, go here.)
- MinimigAGA_MiST_20200921.zip – incorporates the results of Slingshot’s hard work bugfixing stack frames on the TG68K CPU core – certain Graftgold games which previously failed in 68020 mode are now working. Also improvements to YPbPr video output, and a fix to video sync.
The zipfile contains files to be copied to the SD card – most notably, the .rbf file which is the core itself, the boot logo graphics, and also a Utilities disk which contains the P96 RTG driver and few other extras.
